Ok, let me get this straight: I like writing about sad things that happen, like hunger, war, etc., because I believe that if you can touch people's hearts by writing about problems, you can change the problems.
Victims of War
Among the sea of lost and empty faces
A small figure hunches, pale face, sad eyes
Stuck in one of his own far-away places
His tears, no one comes to dry
He needs help, but is merely ignored
Not enough people who care enough to aid him
But time is one thing he cannot afford
So slowly, his light begins to dim
The message is pretty clear...help people that are victims of war! I mean, really, they're over there dying while we sit here staring at a computer screen. Even if you can't go all the way to a country at war, start a food drive or something like that to help them! It may not stop war totally, but it will help a family in need.
